    I may delete this post

I just wrote a paragraph of this post and then deleted it. Not surprising. I may still keep deleting. It’s funny sad how I dislike my writing, usually. So rarely satisfied with anything that I write, which, I guess, is pretty much the norm for anyone who cares about being a writer. I lack originality in that characteristic, but on the plus side it means I’ve got plenty of good company out there in the world. It’s such a cliche, though. This website’s getting cobwebby, dusty, abandoned, nearly forgotten. It’s a dilapidated shack in the leaf-heavy woods, barely noticeable as nature continues to reclaim it.  But it’s not you –…

The Goblin Road e-book Now Only 99 Cents!

Who knew that you could squash the vile hopes of dark-hearted pixies at the same time as you entertain yourself reading The Goblin Road, now with the cost of a measly 99 cents?(I did, actually, but I don’t want to come off as a know-it all, so I won’t say this aloud. The Sad Death of Libraries and Bookstores

Libraries and bookstores aren’t dead, yet. I’m saddened to believe, however, that it’s inevitable. Last time I was in a bookstore, the e-book section had expanded. There were e-book readers you could buy, and there were computer stations with e-book listings that you could order for download. Basically it seems you could walk out of that store with a new e-book reader and a new collection of e-books in it. Pricey initial purchase, but after that, not really costly any more.

A New Year, A New Resolve

Resolutions. People either love them or hate them. I’m not going to bother looking for research on the stats of what percentage of people keep the resolutions they set for a new year. Most, by now, seem to skip making resolutions and say “I don’t make them because I never keep them” or “I don’t make them because you shouldn’t wait until a specific day, you should just do it now!”

    Subliminal Message

I like to read stories that transport me to another place and time. Do you do the same? This is probably why I started writing again two years ago, filling my own tale with trolls and sprites and goblins. Though I am not yet a success as a writer, at least by my own definition, the road is before me and I aim to follow it. What road are you going to take today?
